The first moment I laid eyes on Chadrick Cummings, lead meteorologist on channel eight news, I knew that we were destined to be together. It didn’t matter that he’d never met me before in real life or that he appeared to be getting cozy with some starlet.
Obviously, a grand gesture was necessary. Something so crazy and outrageous that he’d have to stop and listen to me. Once our eyes met for the first time (not through a television screen) everything would fall into place. I just needed to sweep him off his feet—which I did, with duct tape and zip ties.
Only there was this one little hitch. The man in the back of my van was NOT Chadrick Cummings.

In order to avoid going to jail, I’ve promised the devilishly handsome stranger that I will do anything, be at his beck and call day and night for the next thirty days. In exchange for that, he won’t call the authorities and rat me out.
