The Most Dearest by Myranda Henty
When Cordelia catches Harrison cheating, their once-perfect life together turns into a battlefield. Refusing to back down or leave, both stake their claim to the house — but Cordelia’s not about to lose without a fight. With her mischievous sister Miranda by her side, they unleash a series of pranks and schemes designed to make Harrison’s life a living nightmare. As Cordelia fakes a steamy new relationship with their irresistible neighbor Damon, Harrison realizes he’s losing more than just the house. A game of revenge, love, and ultimate comeuppance unfolds — and in the end, only one will walk away victorious.

This isn't a spicy read its about people navigating a hard break up and the consequences that come of that. There's equal measure good and bad here. I appreciate the Shakespeare quotes, names, and allegories thoughout. I think the battle over the house is also a realistic slant on the break up. The underlying issue with Harrison's job too was important and I like that it eventually did bite him in the bum. What he did was immoral and it needed to be acknowledged.
The other side of it, a little restraint would have been good. The pranks were stupid and not funny. Realistically Harrison could have had the police involved many times over for simple assault and property damage. The Miranda character was too much; I would have like to see her vengenance of her sister's behalf be smarter and more vicious. Toilet pranks and autocorrect hacking is stuff I expect from a 10 year old. Maybe a 2.5 stars out of 5. What I did enjoy was great, but the parts I didn't like made my physically cringe whilst reading them.
