Boss’s Baby by Sloane Peterson
A surprise pregnancy, forced to let my rich ex- boyfriend boss back in my life, and another mess I find myself tangled up in.
After my tabloid-topic, socialite boyfriend, Oliver Windsor, confesses to a dark secret, I decide to call things off with him – for the sake of my own sanity. It’s time to move on with my life without him.
Until two little pink lines show up on a pregnancy test and I realize Oliver is the father.
Despite my unresolved feelings for him, the last thing I want is to get tangled back up with him and his mess of a family.
When his father suggests that we fake a relationship to keep the family in good graces with the press, things get even more complicated than I ever imagined they could.

Boss's Baby, Book 2 of the Fake Love Rich Boss trilogy, was again about Cassidy Hanson and Oliver Windsor.
Two months earlier, Cassidy had broken things off with Oliver because she could no longer live with his lies and secrets. Although she still had to maintain her working relationship while she was employed by his company until she had fulfilled her year-long contract with Windsor Books, her personal relationship with him was no more. When she started dating a reporter she'd met through one of her PR conferences for the Windsor family, Oliver learned about it and was not happy.
Shortly after he learned about her dating someone else, Oliver confronted the man when she failed to show up for work the morning after she and the reporter had dinner together. He then found her at home, sick in bed. It wasn't long after that she learned she was pregnant, and her friend told her she needed to let him know, and she agreed. Oliver and his father told her it would be best if they "pretended" to be in a relationship again to keep the media happy and the Windsor family out of bad news.
It didn't take long for things to go sideways again, and Oliver started pushing her away once more. Cassidy was beginning to think things would never work out for them and decided to confront him with his ghosting her again. When she confronted him, she learned that he'd once again screwed things up. Then he told her he wanted her to do something that would be very hard for her to understand.
This story was full of angst, drama, secrets, and lies. The plot thickened but was never revealed (of course not. It ended in a cliffhanger, right?). It had heartache, surprises, pain, and suffering. The spicy scenes...weren't so spicy, and there was hardly any humor.
Once again the MMC came off as a bit of a teenager rather than a mature adult, allowing his father to manipulate and control every aspect of his life. The FMC remained stoic and strong, not putting up with any crap.
I gave this story another three-star rating. It was better than the first, but it still had its own issues that kept it from getting a higher score. Hopefully, Book 3 will be better than the first two.
