The more time they spend together, the more they realize their not quite as opposite as they seem. And though it’s not what either of them had planned, it’s not long before they shift from co-workers, to friends, and then so much more.

But when the worst happens, and both Shadow and her father are taken against their will, it seems as if the dream Digger was only just beginning to believe in was just that. A dream.
