Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They’re preparing for their lavish wedding that’s three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him.

Naomi wants out, but there’s a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare.

But with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they’re finally being themselves–and having fun with the last person they expect: each other.

When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.

Here's the thing, if a book doesn't hold my attention for a whole chapter, I move on. I did make it to chapter 4 with this, but just could not get into it. (others have said the beginning is slow, but it gets better). Maybe I'll come back to this, maybe not.

That's what my sister did, but she went back to it and now it's one of her favorite books.

I loved this book! I found it hilarious and while there were times I wanted to smack the main character, by the end she realized she almost missed out on an amazing man! So sweet!

@Noodle Mood i’m a psychology major, and i pass plenty of my research papers with flying colors and this book was beyond immature. what kind of 28 year old woman sits in the corner and harbors ill will towards her fiancé?? I think i understand english pretty well you IDIOT :) i’m entitled to my opinion and u didn’t need to insult me jackass. The book was not heartwarming, funny, or sweet. The main is lazy and self-absorbed sweaty. get over yourself

It's not that big of a deal, you have your opinions, others have theirs.

Respectfully, do you hear yourself right now? "I'm iN pSyCHoloGY mAJoR". if you don't like the book just shut up and move along, you don't need to ruin it for others.

and since i’m an idiot who can’t read english coherently enough to have my opinion, i’ll explain to why this books sucks in psychology terms :) the main probably has some sort of personality disorder...mmm maybe narcissistic personality disorder, she really only cares about herself and i think nick deserves better than her nutty ass. secondly, any adult over the age of 20 wouldn’t be doing these insane pranks to get the attention of their fiancé she could literally JUST LEAVE. but what do i know? i can’t do any better i guess :\

You're an idiot, this book was funny, sweet and heartwarming. It was NOT immature the parts that you're talking about were metaphors in the book so improve your English and actually pass your English exams before commenting on this fabulous piece of writing cos it's not like you can do any better

I enjoyed this book a lot. The story was very original and funny. Nicholas was actually a really sweet guy and Naomi what a cool chick. Well worth reading.
