Prim and proper art gallery coordinator Elle Walser is no good at seducing men. Heck, she’s been throwing hints at her boss for months, but he’s completely clueless. Desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking efforts, she comes up with a plan—buy some lingerie and climb into her boss’s bed. The plan goes brilliantly…until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead.

Bad boy nightclub mogul Gabe Schultz just had the best almost-sex of his life. Too bad the smoking hot blonde thought he was his brother and bolted before he could finish what they started. Though her holier-than-thou attitude puts a serious damper his mood, Gabe’s never been one to give up on something he wants. And he wants Elle.

But does a man who lives on the dark side really have a chance with a proper lady?

Wrong Bed, Right Guy, Book 1 of the Come Undone series, was about Elle Walser, an art gallery curator, and Gabriel "Gabe" Shultz, a nightclub mogul and the older brother of Elle's boss. I almost didn't know what to write about this book. I have to admit, at first, I detested...no, I LOATHED the FMC. Elle was definitely an uptight chick who was critical of literally everything and everyone...except her boss, with him she was infatuated. In fact, she was so infatuated with him that she decided that, because he had ignored all of her less-than-subtle attempted passes she would seduce him instead. But instead of climbing into her boss' bed, it had been his brother's, and things got really hot between the two of them. Oh sure, the author explained why Elle was such a btch, but a past boyfriend who treated her despicably, and a mother from hell weren't good enough reasons for her to be such a hateful, judgemental prude. The MMC, who had a bad history but made it good in the end, was a total sweetheart. He may have been "rough around the edges", but in the end, he was all about spending forever with the FMC. Why?! She treated him like a third-rate citizen, and that was her being nice. The angst and drama levels were really too high for this story, and a good deal of it was because of the attitude of the FMC. But there was enough humor to balance it out and make it enjoyable. If you can get past the first five or six chapters of the FMC being a first-class btch, you might enjoy the book because she does redeem herself in the end While I didn't like Elle in the beginning, she did change and grow up enough to be likable in the end. It's going to be interesting to see if she kept up with the improvements in the rest of the series. Whatever, that turns out to be like, I still couldn't give this more than a three-and-a-half-star rating, rounded up to four.
