Without You I Have Nothing To Lose by Tacarra

Living alone in this cold, cold world was nothing new to Demetric Cole. At the young age of ten-years-old, Demetric found himself motherless, and having no idea who his father was, which resulted in him being abandoned. The start of each day was like preparing for battle. There was no telling what the cruel world would inflict on Demetric at any moment. It’s been a long solo journey, and he was accustomed to being alone… until he wasn’t.
Home was supposed to be where the heart was. However, for Daizha Dixon, her heart was ripped from her chest inside the four walls that were supposed to be her safe haven. Deciding that the cold streets were a better option, Daizha found herself on the doorstep of a group home, trying to put the pieces of her life back together. For Daizha, trusting wasn’t easy… until it was.
Demetric and Daizha are two young, broken souls. Life did them a disservice and all they want is a piece of happiness. Maybe together they can find that as they lean on one another and build a tight friendship. Their bond gets them through the rough days, and soon they realize that there may be more to their feelings. As long as these two have one another, they have nothing to lose. If they can manage not to get lost in the darkness of night, and the hard life on the streets, they may be able to see deeper into one another, and form a bond that lasts forever.
