The first time I met her, I knocked her onto her butt in the middle of a Beverly Hills sidewalk.

She tells me exactly what she thinks of me without flinching.

Most people don’t.

Honestly, it’s refreshing.

I should’ve just apologized because she keeps showing up everywhere.

I keep running into her.

At charity auctions.

Across dinner tables.

In places she has no business being and somehow always is.

Now she’s become my favorite problem.

Which would be fine if she wasn’t gorgeous.

Or so determined to make the world better that she keeps reminding me there’s life outside of work.

I have a store to launch, a family counting on me, and approximately a thousand more important things demanding my attention.
