Wild Hearts by David Horne

Edwin Gillot is a writer. He thinks he has thought of everything that could happen to a man. He is a master of crafting the excitement that a reader wants to read. But he never thought it was something that would happen to him. It’s the sort of thing that just didn’t happen. At least not in real life, right?

That is until he meets Lloyd King in a bar. The sparks between immediately go off. Edwin ends up inviting Lloyd to his place for a “get to know you better” session. While a one-night stand can be harmless fun, neither one is looking for that opportunity. But, they didn’t have time to explore any possibilities because the house next door exploded around them. The explosion is enough to rock Edwin’s place and blow out the windows, releasing a noxious gas into the air.

Edwin will have to leave his home and find temporary house. However, he finds more going on than just that. He finds himself stumbling into a world of intrigue and criminal enterprises and now he has to learn how to navigate that world. His only guide is Lloyd King.
