Return to this fan-favorite romance by New York Times bestselling author Kristan Higgins

Posey Osterhagen can’t complain. She owns a successful company, she’s surrounded by her lovable, quirky family and she has a boyfriend—sort of. Still, something’s missing. Something tall, brooding and criminally good-looking…like Liam Murphy, the bad boy who once broke her heart and is now back in town. She should be giving him a wide berth, but it seems fate has other ideas….

I'm a long time Kristan Higgins, reader and fan. This book like most of her others, I enjoyed. But, I've come to notice that she has a thing for not just embarrassing her MFC, in almost every book. She always seems to have a scene where they are just totally humiliated. They also always give the pick me , choose me, love me ultimatum to the MMC. Who then doesn't choose her until he really thinks about and realizes, that he really does love her. I guess after years of reading her stuff the pattern is a little disappointing and makes me think fuck that. She's a great writer with some hugely problematic tropes.
