My first night at the gay bar I met Blake. It was loud and casual. We didn’t exchange numbers, last names, or occupations. We just had a great time and I figured that I wouldn’t ever see him again. But I was wrong.
When we ran into each other at the grocery store, my heart skipped a beat. Not only because I’ve bumped into him again, but because he has no idea that I have someone waiting for me at home: my teenage son.
