Sienna’s about to fall head first into danger … Will Micah be able to save her and capture her heart in the process?

Micah
From the first time I saw Sienna Bardot dancing on my stage, I was mesmerized. But after booking a private room and buying her time, I want more than just one night.
She thinks by telling me that she’s waiting for love and marriage it’ll scare me away, but what she doesn’t understand is that I plan to make her mine in every way.
When her life is threatened, I would do anything to keep her safe—even if that means forcing her to take my last name.

Sienna
Micah Alexander is a man used to getting what he wants, and I’m a woman used to having my choices taken away.
The sexy club owner thinks he can charm me, but it’s never going to happen. I’m dancing my way to a better life—one that doesn’t include making the same mistakes my mom did.
But when her sins come back to haunt me yet again, I have no choice but to turn to the only man who can save me—and hope letting him in doesn’t put my heart in further danger.

The Risk of Falling, Book 1 of the Falling in Love duet, was about 24-year-old Sienna Bardot, a Junior in college, as well as a dancer at the Wanderlust Club, and 33-year-old Micah Alexander, the co-owner and CEO of Alexander Enterprises (including the club).

Although Sienna was a college student, she worked as a stripper to pay the bills that her wayward mother refused to acknowledge. She took care of herself and her teenage sister, making certain that Ellie was never alone at home for one of their mother's many male friends to accost. Sienna took her to the club with her on the nights she worked. One of those nights, she met a stranger who wanted more than she was willing to give. After she had turned him down, repeatedly, she learned that Micah was not only the brother of her boss, he was also the co-owner of the club, making him her boss as well. When things started going wrong in regards to their mother, Sienna had to start paying for motel rooms to keep her and her sister safe. When Micah learned about their problems, he started intervening on their behalf, stepping up to take control of the situation...especially when people started dying, and Sienna's very life was at risk. This was a very interesting story that had a small amount of mafia ties, a hint of criminal activities, and danger around every corner. The angst, drama, and spiciness were a mixture of highs and lows, all liberally sprinkled throughout the story. The angst and drama were quite high, and for very good reasons, while the spiciness wasn't quite as high due to the FMC's not wanting to engage in any intimacies until she fell in love and married. Both of the main characters were well-developed and mature, with plenty of room for growth. Unlike many books of this genre, these two were good at communicating with each other, giving the story more depth and enjoyment for the reader. Unfortunately, the story had a lot of grammatical errors that were not only noticeable but also had the knack of being distracting. For instance, seven freaking consecutive paragraphs beginning with the word "And..." was a bit overkill, IMHO. There were many other places where things like this occurred, so that knocked the rating down a bit. I wanted to give it a five-star rating, but it ended up earning only four stars. However, the story was good enough to earn a place in my Keeper for the Shelves collection.
