For years, I watched her. Drank her in as she performed in front of an empty theatre, pretending every seat was occupied, the cello settled between her legs as her dainty fingers made love to the strings…one beautiful note after the other.

Gahhhh. 10 STARS!!!! Bella J. What have you done? Once again Bella delivers in spades. She certainly knows how to grab your attention immediately and have you begging for more.
Elijah, ohmyohmy...beyond sexy anti-hero who can capture you and hold you hostage with just his cold, chilling glare. Definitely one of my favorite bad guys thus far. I loved the back story about his childhood and felt it paved the way to a realistic consequence in his adult life. My heart broke for him and wanted his vengeance to become a reality. Let's see what happens in book 2.
A fabulous and believable story that has plenty of surprises. I read in one sitting. You'll just have to!!!
Charlotte was delicate yet strong willed and I so appreciate the author not making her a weak heroine. I just hate that some authors think if there is a dominate male there must be a female without spirit and makes herself a door mat. Thank you Bella!!
My one complaint and one I adamantly feel strongly about is when an author does not reveal the book has a cliffhanger and there will be another book coming. Dang.......I really don't like that and think it's unfair to the reader. Now we all have the wait until August 31st. Because I read so many books, I would have waited closer to the second book's release date to read the first one so I'm current with my thoughts.
Oh well. Aside from that, this book is a major must read.
