Rosalind’s always lived on the outskirts. Her empath abilities make it hard for her to get close to anyone, but when she is taken captive by the Malviks, she can no longer run away from who she is.

Gregor is a soldier first and foremost. He puts his duty above everything, including his friends. After having betrayed his old crew, he’s given a chance to redeem himself. He must help a group of rebels escape before the Malviks can execute them. It goes against everything he believes in, but he owes his old crew a doubt and so he’ll help them.
