The Club Princess was about 18-year-old "Mik" Mikayla and both her stepfather, Shaw, the president of the motorcycle club, and Gage, his son (no ages were given for either of them and I don't recall anyone having a last name).
There wasn't much to this short story, but it had enough angst, drama, and spiciness to satisfy even the biggest critics. Mik was pissed off that both men in her life forgot her 18th birthday so, as per her usual stunts to gain their attention, she threw her own birthday party. When Gage learned of it, he made a beeline for home. After sending her company away, Gage confronted Mik, only to feel regret that he and his dad had forgotten her birthday, having been too engrossed in club business. At that point, Mik gave him an ultimatum. Either allow her to become a club wh*re, or she would vanish from their lives forever. After talking it over with his dad, they responded to her demands by making her theirs.
While it was a decent book, I couldn't become too terribly engrossed in this story. It lacked a bit of finesse and cohesion. There were things going on around the three main characters, but some were resolved too quickly, while others were lost along the way.
The main characters seemed to be mature, but they needed a bit more development to be fleshed out to be believable. There was also little to no growth in any of them. I only gave this a two-star rating.
