The plot even though was nothing new that hasn’t been done before it had its own tale to tell. The intense attraction between Hux and Ev leads them into a relationship which they both struggle to release their feelings and fall in love which has some teary moments throughout the book. Add the vicious ex wife in the mix and a small town community and there is enough to keep the reader interested. There is strong chemistry between Hux and Ev and there are some saucy scenes but not as hot as the story needed. Ending brought out all the drama with parents and friends but it also gave you the HEA. Epilogue was ok but could have been better and would like to have seen more, there is a bonus epilogue that you could download but haven’t read it.
The plot was weak but this author is really good and she made it work.
