One taste of her innocence, and I’m pucking obsessed.

Sweet little Remy has no idea the masked man who followed her into the dark at the Reapers’ party was me— the star center for the Blackridge Ravens college hockey team.

The way she writhed against my mouth.

How she begged so pretty.

Those innocent whimpers when she shattered.

But when the daylight comes, she plays hard to get.

But here’s the thing about being undefeated on and off the ice— I don’t lose.

And watching her pretend she doesn’t want me every time she sees me?

That just makes the hunt sweeter.

Her boyfriend won’t stop me.

Her pride can’t save her.

She says she’ll never be mine.

Well… guess what, baby?

That’s too pucking bad.

Someone else may get something out of this series, wasn't for me. This story in the series was probably the least readable. She strings her boyfriend along, never is honest with him about guy #2 who is pursuing her, cheats on the boyfriend, gets angry when boyfriend breaks it off and never really admits to the cheating. Meanwhile guy #2 is on the sidelines the entire time like her backup plan going out of his way to do nice things for her that she barely acknowledges. She just kept bouncing between both. That's as far as I got when I just DNF. Yes, these are college students and yes, we're all stupid at that age but the fmc frustrated beyond that.
