An Omega raised as a normal human girl…
Tiana
Something never felt right with me.
I have to take these mysterious pills my mother gave me.
Until one night, my life turns upside down when my parents reveal the truth about me.
That I was an omega.
When I feel my heat coming on, I start to panic.
…and maybe throwing away the mystery pills wasn’t such a good idea after all.
Grant
I’m on a mission to find the lost virgin omega. To return her to Howl’s Edge immediately.
When I lay eyes on her, I want to claim her. And my pack wants her too.
But she’s not ours.
Tiana’s feisty, and I can’t keep my eyes off her, especially when she goes into heat during the cruise ship wedding.
She’s stranded with me. And my pack of alphas.
Either we mate with her, or she’ll die.

Dnf. Writing was subpar
Stolen by the Pack, Book 1 of the Howl's Edge Island series, was about 24-year-old Tiana, a secret Omega, and 39-year-old Grant, a police officer and the head Alpha of his Frostcrown Pack, Antonio "Tony", Wesley, and Sam. (No one else had an age assigned to them, and no one had a surname.)
On the night of her birth, the midwife revealed to her parents that she had the mark of an Omega. Fearing for her safety, her parents decided to leave the community, suppress her ability to go into heat and hide her true identity.
24 years later, as she prepared to attend a party with her BFF, Tiana, who had been sheltered and constantly controlled by her parents (who had never revealed to her that she was an Omega), stared at the hated bottle of pills that they deemed necessary for her to take daily or else something horrible would happen to her. This time, however, Tiana chose not to take the unknown pill but flushed it instead. She was determined to never take them again since she didn't know what they were. As she and her friend were leaving, her BFF asked her to attend a three-day cruise with her that the other girl's cousin was holding three days later. Although she wasn't sure she should defy her parents, she agreed. But she would later realize that attending the party and forgoing taking her pills had been a life-altering decision.
Since her BFF had decided to drink at the party Tiana, only having a permit instead of a license, was forced to drive them home. Unfortunately, she ran into a stop sign and was pulled over by a cop. Grant, making his patrol round, had hoped it would be a routine stop, but he immediately sensed that Tiana was an Omega and wondered if she was the one he had been searching for. Grant escorted her and her friend to their respective homes, dropping the BFF off first so he could spend more time learning about Tiana. He and his pack, who had all become cops at the same precinct, had been searching for her for more than 20 years. Although his wolf wanted her for his pack, he could not touch her because they were under strict orders to return her to the island where she had been born, where the most powerful Pack was expecting her to mate with them. When Grant changed into his wolf form, he hunted around the complex she lived in, where he easily found her window and watched her through an opening in her curtain.
When his wolf side let out a mating howl that caught her parents knew instantly that she had stopped taking her suppression medicine and confronted her about it, realizing they needed to come clean with her about her true werewolf identity and the fact she was a rare form of Omega that Alphas fought over. After telling her the truth and demanding she pack because they needed to flee for her safety, Tiana took a stand and decided she was done giving in to her parents' demands and left. She chose to go on the cruise with her friend, but she left a note behind informing her parents of her decision.
Unknown to her, Grant had witnessed not only her parents confronting her with the truth but also the meltdown she had afterward. he contacted the other members of his pack and made arrangements to steal Tiana while she was on the cruise. However, while on board the yacht, she went into heat and the pack offered to help her through it. She declined, only for the three of them to kidnap her later in the night while she was asleep.
When Tiana's heat got too bad for her to endure, the four members of Grant's pack mated with her, only for him to inform her that they weren't her ultimate mates. He let her know that they were handing her over to a different pack once they got to the island. Things went from bad to worse after he told her that, much to his pack's dismay and Tiana's pain from her continued heat.
While the other alphas in his pack wanted to keep the omega, Grant was determined to honor the agreement to hand her over to the other pack, so he did. Once she was in their possession, things didn't go well for her. Just when she started to lose hope, things changed yet again. When the opportunity presented itself for her to escape, she did without hesitation.
There was a lot of angst and drama in this story that kept the tension high. The emotional rollercoaster didn't have as many twists and turns as one would expect from such a storyline, so that was somewhat disappointing. Even the flow of the plot was choppy and unpleasant, to the point that it was a distraction. The plot had so many paths that got started, but most of them had a dead end that was unsatisfying, and the book ended abruptly, leaving many issues unresolved.
I can't say that all of the main characters were fully developed or mature because, in all honesty, they weren't. Most of their backgrounds were left a mystery. The head alpha left much to be desired and didn't really make for a good "head alpha", at least IMHO.
While it was a decent story, it needed more tweaking and editing. I could only give it a three-star rating because that's all it earned overall. However, I do look forward to continuing the series. Hopefully, the subsequent books will be better.
BOOK 2 PLS
This is awful, from beginning I can't say end because this is a DNF for me.
Can you please add book three Betrayed by the Pack?
