Sarah I get that you are trying to be nice, I also get the concept of trying to make a joke when things get uncomfortable, And honestly if everybody on this site treated me the way that you did I would never have gotten to the level that I am now ( basically thinking of everyone that steals books in the same category) So I want to just give you some perspective. This book alone has has 14.5k downloads. I sell my book for roughly $4 on Amazon... That's like $58,000 for this book ALONE. I am curious how nice you would be to the people that you know took $58,000 out of your pocket... Again that's only this specific book I have seven others.... So hundreds of thousands of dollars are getting stolen from me. Money that I earned. So, knowing that these sites would not be a problem if people didn't download off of them.... Would you be at the end of your rope, or would you be more likely to say "oh well" over $58,000? And if you're completely honest I guarantee you would be as angry as I am

Believe it or not, I'm a very nice person to people not stealing from me. Pirating sites and the people that use them are destroying this industry, and more and more authors are quitting because of how badly it affects us. We have zero power, and people pirating act like we have no right to be pissed. If someone stole your car are really going to be sweet and nice to them? It's asinine to expect that. So when I get super angry and fed up with it instead of letting it take something that I love (writing books) I let out my frustrations and aggressions on the people that I KNOW have stolen from me and deserve it. It makes me feel better about the whole shitty situation. And you should feel guilty because it's wrong.

I actually enjoyed this book. I do feel like there is a proper way to give information about this site being illegal, if I would've known I wouldn't have read it on here. C.B. you come across rude as hell responding to people. I'm honestly mortified that you treat people like this. The way you responded has made me not want to support you as a writer. I understand you are frustrated but let's be fucking honest you don't know what people are going through and to talk to people like this is fucking wrong if it bothers you this much report the website don't attack people just because you are pissed. I was so excited to read more of your books and then I looked at the comments and I now have no desire. There are so many alternatives that you could choose to do to spread this information but instead you chose to act disrespectful and rude to everyone. I loved it! It's very dark and morbid but also loving and hearty. Could have been maybe a little bit more fulfilling as far as details and stuff goes, but besides that I couldnt put it down.

I rarely write reviews. If ever. I must say. This is pretty sick. Like. Sick as hell. I'm pretty open when it comes to the dark side of romance and erotica. But this? Naw. While it's all fun and games as its just fiction, but honestly, this gives a heavy concern for the authors mental health. The writing actually was very good and I would love to read something that was even just a little less sick. Hopefully they have some new material and do better than this..yuck.

Again, we pay a fee. There are thousands of books here and the sites has been up for years. Why would we assume its anything but legit?? Why is it still operating if its anything other than legal for so long? Dont use this platform as a means of letting off your anger on others who are innocent of the deception. Attacking people based off your ASSUMPTIONS we are acting in malice or disrespect for this art is very presumptuous on your part and again, MISDIRECTED. okay, I can admit your response is fair, but imagine dealing with this for more than 2 years. Fighting people illegally downloading something you worked your ass off on. Imagine spending hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours on something just for people to think they are entitled to it for free. Why would you be able to download something for free when everywhere legitimate costs something? You really never questioned that? I'm thinking you just ignored it because who cares? it's just art right? Nothing more than someones soul on paper. Imagine someone stealing your tv or car. Something you've busted you're ass to earn. So yes. I'm pissed. This book alone cost me just under $1000 and I charge less than $3 on a LEGITIMATE site. Imagine loving something so much and working so hard on something that people think they can just take from you? Have you ever been stolen from? How does it make you feel?? I dont care if you if you liked the book or not. Show some respect for the art you claim to love. Maybe you didn't know or just didn't care. Regardless a lot of WORK goes into books, music, tv, and you stealing from that artist makes you part of the problem.

This is one of my darker books and I would suggest my lighter ones but since you read my books illegally I'm not too keen to share that info. regardless if you like my work or not I cant condone stealing from me or the other authors on this site.

This book really is shit. I read the whole thing & it got worse, & if there was a town like this, it needs to be bombed. All the people are very fucked up. The author is sick, what makes a person write about fucking a dead body, having a child been taken & cut up, as wells as having a so called fucking her along with a man-child??? And the ending (spoiler) they bring in another kid (MC) sister, wonder what is going to happen to her, nothing good.
