Love comes in fours for this shark shifter, if only she could outswim her dangerous past.
No man has ever been able to see past my oversized chompers, but when I meet four deliciously hot shifters who are willing to look past my flaws, I’m determined to give them a chance. Only my past won’t stay in the past, and a power-hungry Kraken comes calling. The most dangerous man in the ocean wants me as his own, and if I can’t defeat him, no one will make it out alive.
This is the complete first season of the Vel!a serial, SHARK.

This was chaotic and cute and perfectly readable as standalone.

This is listed as book one, and technically it is book one for this character, but it reads like a spin off series. I read it without reading anything else by this author, but its like a hunk of plot from a prologue is missing. You don't need it, but it would be better if you had it. Otherwise it was pretty good until about chapter 25ish, thats when it started to get novella-y (which this book is adapted/consolidated from novellas). I love novellas, but you have to give up detail and plot building. Novellas are abrupt and usually OTT. So do not recommend for a complex storylines. Anyways anticlimactic ending. 3.5/5 ⭐
