Interesting, nothing much really happens. More like this is the build up for the next book, establishing dynamics, the mystery, the power struggle, and reaching a stale mate/mutual agreement to finally work together. That said it's not a slow burn, they are hate banging pretty quickly, mainly Vrahs in this first book. Ending is pretty abrupt, it's a cliff hangar, but it's like mid conversation. I'll probably read the second book, well written RH's are hard to find. Quick but bad. 4/5 ⭐'s
