Sometimes getting lost is the only way to find where you belong.
Getting stranded in a mountain wasn’t on my road map.

Neither was needing to be rescued by a brooding mountain man.
But that’s exactly what puts Gage in my path. He’s gruff. Quiet. Built like he was carved straight from the wilderness. And when he scoops up my stubborn cat and tells us we’ll be safe with him, I almost believe him.
I’m supposed to be passing through. A bad breakup and a job that went up in flames sent me running. I’m ready to start over. I just need my car fixed and my heart to stop racing every time Gage looks at me.
But the more time I spend in Misty Mountain, the more I start to wonder… maybe I belong here. Maybe I belong with him.
I’ve been let down before. I know better than to fall for the first man who makes me feel safe. Yet when Gage kisses me and makes me feel like I belong here, like I belong to him, what am I supposed to do?
