Its alright, pretty basic star crossed, ott, alpha male, insta love, fated mate, shifter love story. Enjoyed it, the cliff is interesting, but not necessarily in a way that makes me want to continue with the series. Outside of all of that, not really relevant to the story, but I find it annoying: this is an exact quote from the book about the MMC appearance "His dirty blond hair was dark, almost brown at first glance and cut short." Obviously that's not the cover art. 🙃 There is a character with dark shoulder length hair thats in like 2 pages midway through and is then never mentioned again. Irrelevant character that may pop up again in another book. 🙄
Pretty good. I do wonder what will happen in the second book. Left on a cliffhanger.
