Somewhere deep down, she wants to find someone to treat her like a soft, cuddly princess. But if there’s no prince out there, she’ll pamper herself instead — which is why she’s treating herself to a spa weekend at a shifter-only lodge.
Except the lodge is nothing like she expected. The place is under construction, half the spa things aren’t working, and the only other person around besides the owners is a weird, scarred lumber-cutting loner who seems to want nothing to do with her.
But her badger is fascinated with him.
And if Doreen has to spend her spa weekend badgering someone else’s secrets out of them, maybe it’ll end up being time well spent.
After all, it’s not like things could go from badger to worse …
