My contract with Greenleigh United is up soon, which means I have a year to either sign a new deal or the team owners are going to sell me.
All I am is football and I love paying for this team. There is nothing I want more than to help get us promoted.
But then Heli crashes into my life with his sass and glitter and rules. Before I know it, I’m agreeing to all kinds of things this crazy little American is telling me to do.
Being with him lights me up in a way no one and nothing has before. Not even football.
Which is a big flipping problem because if this thing with Heli gets out, I am done.
Goodbye to any chance I might have had playing top flight football.
I need to decide if Heli is worth the risk.

When I was a kid, I learned that the only way to get my Hollywood actor parent’s attention was by acting out. Now I’m an adult and crazy stunts are second nature to me.
My latest indiscretion is a showstopper. Literally. So my parents ship me off to a small town in England where they own a soccer team.
Being relegated to the land of Sunday roasts and Stone Henge isn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Not when there is Connor Bunton to occupy my thoughts.
At first, flirting with him is a fun way to pass the time.
And then I see him naked and he starts to fill other parts of my body.
I set rules to protect him from falling in love with me, but can I protect myself?
And what happens to his career if we are found out?
