Never Kiss the Bad Boy by Lauren Landish
A full plate? More like an overflowing platter.
The last thing I have time for is the bad boy guy next door.
Even if he’s hot, sweaty, muscled, pierced, and makes sexy promises that keep me on edge.
Survival Mode is how I live. My ghost kitchen is the place to be for every work crew in the city, and I bust my butt from sunup to sun down, while rubbing every nickel and dime together to scrape by.
And it’s going fine. Until he shows up.
Kyle Harrington parks his truck right in the middle of my drive-thru line and acts like the trouble he’s causing is no big deal. Even tossing me a cocky smirk as he struts into my neighbor’s backyard to get to work on her construction project. If his annoying presence isn’t a one-time thing, he’ll have to learn that I’m not one to mess with.
Except no matter how many times I tell him I have zero interest in adding him to my too-busy schedule and flipping him off, he keeps coming back for more.
And he’s starting to break through my defenses, letting me see beyond his dirty innuendos, wicked invitations, and aw-shucks charm. There’s a lot more to Kyle than the rough and tumble exterior.
Do I have the guts to risk everything I’ve worked for to find out if he’s worth my precious time?
All it’ll take is one kiss…

Was Ok but I didn’t feel the chemistry between Chance and Samantha. I like her sassy side but Chance was too strait-laced for her and way too much with the sex toys it got a little dull in parts. I think Sam’s sharp retorts was more for the shock value which was funny but more on the trope side. A little angst at the end to heighten the drama but felt forced and anti climatic. HEA was ok but nothing earth shattering.
I didn’t really enjoy it that much. I think there’s a line between being fiery or sassy and just being rude, and at times, the heroine came across as unnecessarily rude, which honestly started to irritate me.
Oops posted this comment for the wrong book will have to read this next. Comment below was for book 3.
Such a cute story with all the right elements and well paced. Loved how both grew into each other and let the relationship build. Good chemistry and beautiful moments between Cole and Janey. Nice inclusion with the Harrington family and building on the whole family’ relationships with their wives. Janey’s family and ex certainly needed some more Karma but there was just enough to give back for Janey’s heartache it would have been nice to see a little more pay back. Would like to see what happens to Kayla as she needs her romance, even Georgina Janey’s boss needs a story too. Kyle is the next book and would love to read that being the bad boy. Riley gets an intro in this book which will lead to Cameron’s story too. All the books have a nice tale and building on all the siblings relationships.
