Good bones but lacked the detail to flesh out the emotions. Loved the storyline but each chapter felt liked it was cut short with the pieces missing which were needed to play out the emotions more. The romance was good but would have liked a little more slow burn to build the chemistry. The ending was nice but anticlimactic and didn’t give us enough grovel by Harrison. There were a few editorial errors mixing Jackson and Harrison’s names. We were given a little glimpse into Harrison’s and Eliza’s family pain but this needed to be fleshed out more to add depth to the story. The makeover of Eliza was light on and could have been played up more as we were given only a few brief snippets but these were cut short, missed opportunity to use these for some humour and snappy banter between the two MCs. Overall a nice read but felt like it needed more.
