I so wanted to love this, the scenario sounded terribly cute. It just got boring fast. If you have a cautious character, the other partner needs to be bold or at least actionable to move the story along. Even with slow burn style, you need something to keep it moving. Having two persons shy and reluctant to step out of the their respective shells made the each successive chapter less interesting for me. I do like the idea so not to bury the writer.
