Mismatched Mates by Jade Alters
After a bitter divorce leaves Jane with no date to her brother’s wedding, she turns to a matchmaker for help. But finding a match for a workaholic bear shifter with control issues is no easy task—until the perfect bad-boy comes along.
Grant has always lived on the edge. The town’s bad boy, the black sheep of Pine River’s wealthiest family, and a wolf with a wild streak—he’s never followed the rules. But when his alpha father demands he clean up his act or risk losing his inheritance, Grant reluctantly agrees to a matchmaker’s help. He’s not interested in love, but a fake relationship might just do the trick.
Neither Jane nor Grant are looking for a fairytale ending, but when a no-strings-attached deal between a bear and a wolf turns steamy, they realize pretending might come with very real consequences…

Really enjoyed reading this. I did read book #1 in the series first, and I liked this story better. The author needed to proofread her work a little better. In places, she used the wrong character's name. I could figure out from context whose name it should've been, but still, if Alters wants to be a professional writer, she needs to proofread for these kinds of inconsistencies.
