Piper Gray got fired, and now her boss is suing her for breach of contract. It’s not like she has anything worth taking, but still, she has to meet with his lawyer and find out exactly how bad things are going to get. Only when she locks eyes with Attorney Landon Adair, suddenly he’s the one protecting her instead of grilling her.
Landon and his two best friends started Adair, Bennett, and Chapman Law Firm to make a name for themselves. So why in the world would he throw away one of his wealthiest and well connected clients? It’s professional suicide, but none of that matters, not anymore. Piper Gray thawed his frozen heart with one look, and now there’s nothing he’ll let get in the way.

Love and Lawyers break all the rules when three best friends find their forever. Come along with us as we throw order out of the courtroom and leave judgement at the door.

No quedan vírgenes en el mundo porque están todos en los libros de estas dos autoras 🤣 🤣

I felt there is lack of details. There is no progression in love either: first sight + love + happily everafter. Though, I did love the general plot.

Gotta agree this was dry. Even the smut was bland. They are phoning in their new books for sure. The last sofa series was 50/50 good in hoping the next ones in this one improve.

Same old same old, the poor penniless with no background girl and the richy rich smart guy with the brightest academic background to the rescue. (It has always annoyed me that most of the girls in these books have no education background or work silly jobs and are so poor as hell).

Another thing, even though I have nothing against animals, the kittens’ part was ughhh it felt forced. I’ve seen it many times, try saving the stray poor kitten when you can barely save yourself and then the whole story evolves around it. If there was no kitten, there won’t be a story here I guess.

Other than that, I could read a book about Uncle Dino 😁

Boring, even with a kitten being part of the relationship.
