As Heated’s first male omega seeking his pack, I’m feeling a bit like a fish out of water.

I’ve never been what one would refer to as a “typical” omega, and that’s never bothered me a bit. I don’t like being the center of attention, and I’ve spent most of my life trying to blend into the background. Which isn’t exactly something that will work as the star of a reality dating show, is it?

I’ve spent years burying myself in my work, trying to learn why birth rates have dropped. Trying to learn the secrets of our biology so that we don’t go extinct. None of that has prepared me for finding the pack and family I’ve always desired.

With twenty suitors vying for a place in my pack, all I can do is hope that I’m not a disappointment. All I can do is hope that there are alphas and betas who don’t mind a “nerdy” omega who doesn’t quite fit the omega expectations. Who don’t mind that I’m not like other omegas.

But isn’t that what Heated is all about—helping omegas like me find their happily-ever-afters?
