Eveline Durville
Finding out her boss is not who she thought he was has her turning to the one man who’d kicked her out of his bed after the best night of her life–Kyle ‘Ox’ Matthews. As expected he isn’t open to listening to her or helping her with her problem.

Kyle ‘Ox’ Matthews
Kyle should let his past define his future, but when he finds out Eveline works for an opposing company he closes the door on her as quick as he can. When she comes to him with information about her boss he dismisses it, until he finds that there could be some truth in Eveline’s claims.
Someone wants to send Eveline a message and when she collapses in Kyle’s arms, his protective instincts kick in and he vows to find out who wants her gone.

Had a good start but the storyline didn’t ring true and the threat on Evaline was a little over the top. Most of the story was from Kyle’s POV and was a little soppy with Kyle fighting his strong feelings for Evie and wanting to protect her. The plot got a little bizarre at the end with the inevitable save the girl scenario and Kyle the hero. Nice inclusion with the rest of the team but not enough depth to the story for more realism. Ok read with some nice chemistry but could have had more thrills.
