Just my luck, the man I finally give my v-card to,
Is my billionaire boss—And now he’s about to be a dad…oops!
Kirk Silvers is so far out my league,
We aren’t even in the same sport.
But here’s the real problem…
He’s my best friend’s ex.
I knew the moment his fingers gripped my hips,
The moment our lips touched, I was done.
I played the kiss over and over again in my head,
Trying to talk myself out of what I was about to do.
Out of seducing him on his own desk—but I did it anyway.
I guess I can’t blame anyone but myself when I overhear his secret,
One that leaves my heart in a million pieces.
So now I’m pregnant, heartbroken and jobless.
I guess all the cliches about falling for your first really are true.
Happily ever after?
More like Happily NEVER after.

Hot boss and assistant romance, the chemistry between Kirk and Kim was developed well and kept pace with the story. No surprises with the storyline that hasn’t been written before. The typical ex comes in to derail the romance and of course the misunderstandings that lead to heartache. But all ends well and the pregnancy saves the day. Good read with simple storyline with a happy ever after.
