Gill was walking through the dirt road to his small cabin in the woods and found a lady with worn-out clothes crouching at his front yard. He’s surprised and slowly moves towards her as he asks questions a few meters away. Then she rises quickly, seemingly frantic as she walked towards him, saying nervously, “Please don’t let them…he find me…” then faints.
His first thought was to call the police, but her beauty was mesmerizing, and he couldn’t help himself. She looked like a trafficked person, and he knew very well about these unscrupulous individuals who took girls, maimed them, and had connections even with the police. He couldn’t take any chances to leave her vulnerable, he thought.
So he swore to keep her safe and help her as much as he can. With this start, it takes him on a different life course, way more than he expected.
