Ruby Santos knew exactly what she was getting herself into when she signed up to write a soldier overseas.
The guidelines were simple: one letter or email a week for the length of his or her deployment. Care packages were optional.
Been there, done that. She thought she knew what to expect.
What she didn’t count on was falling in love with the guy.

Okay, I really enjoyed this book, but getting to the end, the "epilogue" was extremely disappointing and left a lot to be desired. However! I am just reading "From Lukov with Love" which is about Ruby's little sister, Jasmine the figure skater, and Ruby and Aaron are in that book, where more of their background is mentioned. I was definitely happy about that. So if you are unhappy with the ending, consider reading Ruby's sister's story.

I genuinely, extremely, completely, HATE guys who just keep freaking smirking. Aaron's nice and all but he's just LAUGHING AND SMILING ALL THE DAMN TIME. Infact in most places it's like he's laughing at her. Which is where I draw the line. Lol

He was never laughing at her, he was laughing because of her. He genuinely was happy to see her live in front him, the person who kept him sane and happy while being posted. That's the reason why Mariana should include Guy's POV.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It was so slow but around chapter 20 or so it got better. But the epilogue I felt cheated lol. Its like "thats it??"

They feature a lot in From Lukov with Love. Married with kids and all. So ig that's why.
