When I head to the Hug Club Friday night, I’m not expecting anything new. More Daddies who’ll take one look at me playing on the beanbag chairs with my stuffy and write me off as a lost cause. I’m worthy of sympathetic glances, never real relationships.
Everything changes when I have a medical emergency and Wren rescues me.
Wren is my dream Daddy come to life. He’s forty-four, fluffy, and he owns the Hug Club with his four best friends. Whereas most men aren’t open with their feelings, Wren doesn’t hold back. His gentle embraces let me know he’s experienced rejection like me. Out of all the men here tonight, he knows how to take care of a sensitive boy like me.
Wren helps me take my medication, then brings me to the snuggle room where we hold each other, cuddle, and talk about our feelings all night.
When it’s time to head home, I hope Wren still wants to be mine…
