I loved the book, the story of both the Hero and Heroine, their own struggles and got a nice lesson of trust, betrayal, love, sex and the fact that family is not always home, and about the masks we wear, to defend ourselves, to deter enemies as well as sometimes to lie to ourselves. The best part was towards the end when the protagonists see through each other, one forgiving the other and holding onto her, while she takes a huge risk to protect her loved one and his pack. Over all, I would give 8.5 for the drama but I expected a bit more action (as in fights) given the type of creature and build the hero is. Give it a try
