She walked into my life when I was 17. Actually, I walked into hers. I applied for an after-school job at her photography studio. I fell for her at first glance. She was my first love. Actually, she was my first at a lot of things, and when she walked out on me, she broke my heart.
I thought it had healed. Then I saw her again and as corny as it sounds, looking into her eyes was like coming home. The question is, can old hurts be forgotten, and can old love be rekindled? I don’t know, but sure as hell hope it’s possible.
