Some people are meant to have the best of everything in their lives, and then there are people like Dawson. Dawson knew from a young age that he would have to fight for everything that he has, but he didn’t realise it would get so damn difficult. Dawson Gellar is trouble. Dawson Gellar isn’t the kind of person you want in your life. Dawson Gellar doesn’t know what it feels like to have someone to rely on … not until he meets Jamieson Crawford. Jamieson can see the pain in Dawson’s eyes, even though he tries to hide it from him. He can tell that his life is hard and lonely. There is an attraction that Jamieson feels towards Dawson, the only problem is Jamieson is Dawson’s boss, so he is completely off limits. When Dawson goes too far, risking his life for the numbness, Jamieson finally steps in. Jamieson can’t sit back and watch Dawson kill himself, but can he get him to listen? Dawson can see the looks Jamieson gives him, but after a lifetime of hurt, can he finally trust someone enough to let them in? The decision is Dawson’s, but he doesn’t know what to do. Does he hold onto the man who has become such a big part of his life, or does he stay numb and keep Chasing The Dragon?
