She should have died that night.
I should have killed her as quickly and without conscience, as I had the man I’d been assigned to ensure stopped breathing.
But something stopped me.
Instead, I found myself draping her over my shoulder and taking her home.
Now she’s locked in the basement, and I have no idea what to do with her.
If I set her free, my associates will kill her.
If I get bored of her, I’ll kill her myself.
There doesn’t seem to be an option where she turns out the winner in this dire situation.
