Five years ago I looked my mate in the eye, and I lied to him.
I told him he wasn’t my mate, and that I never wanted to see him again.
I did it to save his life from my father, the alpha of the pack.
Now Saint is back, and he’s the king of all alpha’s, with an entire pack created of other alphas he saved from what my father did to them.
The thing is, Saint is back for revenge against those who wrong him and I’m at the top of his list.
I did it to save his life, but the cost will be my own.
Five years ago she broke my heart and ripped out my soul.
Her father sent me away to a place worse than hell.
I escaped the fate he chose for us and built a pack that couldn’t be broken.
I’m the King of Alphas, and I’m heading straight for her.
Braelyn broke me, but I intend to break her apart until there’s nothing left but her worthless soul, and when I reach it? I intend to rip it apart too.

Honestly it was okay. Like the other comments she forgives him and the rest of the pack to easily and to me he didn't seem to guilty of what he did to her after he figured out what her father did to her. Overall I dislike the male character. (I could say hated but hated is to strong of a word to use.)

The heroine is beaten tortured by her father, raped abused mentally and physically by her mate, reviled by people she has protected, and she just easily forgives. WTF story line is that,

This is the first book from Amelia that I've read and I'm absolutely hooked on her writing. It's poetically dark with angst riddled throughout from start to finish. As a reader you get sucked into the world she weaves with her words and can imagine how every scene plays out as if you were watching a movie. You can't help but be conflicted emotionally and have hate burning through your being as you read wishing for an escape from the realities you uncover with every page being turned. I loved this book and understand the content may not be for everyone but Amelia warns of what's to be expected in the synopsis. Be brave and try something enticing and seductive to whet your mental appetites you won't be disappointed but left wanting more!

This was a good book. I have read a lot of her other books and things tie in nicely this is a good read. Go for it. The "weed" stuff is explained in the story people are just idiot's or they skim read.

I read the comments first and thought it's bad but want to give it a try and read it. The plot was good and it's a better story than some books I already read before. It makes me cry on the parts where she was abused by her own father. But writer must develop the story more in the parts where Nordic god was mentioned. But I can give 8/10 for the story.

MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS: it seemed like the author was recently introduced to weed as she kept mentioning it everywhere. like literally everyone was high most of this book. its a classic misunderstanding story , boy hates girl, girl is secretive. boy girl fight and that is literally the whole story. like both the characters were too fucking stubborn and the girl just seemed to be one of those 'super cool' wattpad characters. there wasn't enough back story on the boy and his band of misfits. the best friend was weird af, like half the book I was holding my breath waiting for it to be reverse harem. spoiler alert it wasn't. like legit till the last few chapters it was all about this girl is a bitch and I will keep her but shes a bitch and the last chapter was like oh girl is good after all. smh. and this bitch just lets him off the hook so easy. like where is that boss bitch energy girl? where is that attitude you had the whole book?

It started out being hateful and then it was painful in a good way.

              SPOILER ALERT

She forgave him way too easily.

Yeah the book is repetitive and inconsistent, and the joint really is weird but it's good story I can't say I loved it or enjoyed it that much but it's good the author is different something most people are not used to. If you like weird stories go ahead this one is for you it's great in a weird way

Everyone's high most of the time. She either constantly needs her herbs to calm her, or is constantly ofered weed to relax or deal with this or that. It wouldn't have been weird except it's everywhere...
