These books are terrifying, gut wrenching and so raw. Literally, some of the most traumatic writing I have engaged for quite some time. How this can be set in a place that is totally fictional is such Insight into the incredible imagination (if not a little twisted) of a gifted author. To be honest, I’m not an Omegaverse fan but was introduced through the Alpha’s Claim series, which just completely consumed me. (side note: please complete this - left hanging is super disappointing) So, I came back for more. I’m not sure if I’m glad I did or completely regret it. I could review for days, given the chance - there’s just so much to process and dissect but since that’s impractical, I’m going to end this by saying that the four books I’ve read are truly a study into the preciousness of humanity. That love is the greatest motivation of all and that the soul can endure much if the sense of self remains intact.

Debauchery at its highest. The mind fuck is legit disturbing but really good dark story. The helplessness of Wren is disconcerting having no choice, trapped. But the way the story was written, with the characters having different battles, driven to actions based on who they are is really good. Love how the plot is character driven, not made out of some shallow ideas.
