The only thing that had bothered me about the heroine is her name, even though I know it's my personal dislike. I find it unpleasant because of the connotations in Latin Spanish, despite a beautiful meaning, whatever its real etymology. For the rest, so many misfortunes, perpetrated by degenerate hypnotists, made me nervous because of the good luck of the unfortunate and innocent Zorina. Luckily the end of the infamous Ruben has been so withering. Like Zorina, I had a morbid desire to learn more about the details of his death, as well as that of his two henchmen. Really, I wish they could learn of Zorina's mastermind behind the scenes and suffer one iota more, if that's possible. I think I would enjoy it as much as the prolonged erotic obscenities. Obviously, I calmed down for the abused victim, and I arrived more unprepared until the final chapter... my serious mistake... the betrayal hurt me almost as much as if it came from my own guardian. Oh! Luckily there is a 2nd part of that story and the "retaliation" is coming! I enjoyed the storytelling, even though it hasn't been perfect. I hope that the 2nd book will pacify me with the name of the protagonist and I will simply enjoy accompanying her in her "erotic action" tale. Thank you, author Cari!
