She’s a bubbly hairstylist who’s a bit of a klutz. He’s a hard-working firefighter with a reputation to keep. Can an awkward disaster, small-town gossip, and a sense of needing love make these two the perfect match?

Mariah:
My days as a hairstylist at Sweet Spa, seem to fly by when I’m laughing with my coworkers.
Though my ungraceful nature at work can put me in some uncomfortable situations.
When a catastrophe occurs on the day of the annual charity event, a sweet man sets my heart ablaze.
An unexpected love makes me the luckiest woman in the world.
But am I ready to let my guard down and give him access to my heart?

Brad:
As the newest single firefighter on the crew, I keep a low profile and I’m extra wary about my reputation in this small town. My recent inheritance just adds to the gossip.
When there’s a raging fire at the local spa, a sweetheart takes all my attention.
A flame in my heart is all it takes to save her.

But can I show her that our love is worth fighting for?

Can Mariah and Brad’s love survive? Or will they go up in smoke?

I don't even know where to begin with this book... Everything was so cheesy and one-dimensional. There is no real conflict in this book at all, which makes it boring as hell to read. There was absolutely no depth to any of the characters, nor was there any interaction besides talking. They didn't kiss or even hug, but they love each other after knowing each other for two days and spending one evening together at a huge event where she is working. Obviously, I was not expecting a lot of depth from this book after reading the description, but it was worse than I imagined. I mean, he gets a patent on some random device she had an idea for and mentioned in passing. He got a patent in less than two days. While working as a firefighter. Make it make sense. That is a ridiculous and inexcusable sin that I will not forgive this book for.
