Nice intense and emotional. Super shy Kady is no match for hot confident Slade. The story focuses on the timid Kady who is insecure and pursued by Slade for a bit of fun but tables are turned on them both and ending in an intense insta love. The story felt disjointed in parts and jumped across some of the storyline which needed better transition. Slade’s fear of deep emotion causes Kady grief which comes to ahead in the last chapter which felt a little rushed and anti-climatic. Epilogue ok but wanted more. Nice inclusion of some of the towns billionaires and as there are more stories to come it would interesting to read the other romances. Was a nice read but felt rushed and wasn’t given time to develop the relationship between Slade and Kady which could have added to the chemistry and building on their relationship.
