I can’t possibly fall for the first man I meet after my divorce. Sure he has great muscles, an amazing smile, and he’s incredible in bed. He’s a perfect rebound boyfriend for me during my vacation, but it can’t possibly last after I return home.
With each passing day, Shane breaks down the walls I’ve built around my heart, and starts to make me trust in someone again.
It’s too soon to settle down with anyone again, though. I’ll have to let him go.

It’s funny how the injury that ended my career as a ski instructor, and stole my identity as the local playboy, might just be the thing to make me settle down. Someday. I don’t know how to be the kind of man who stays in a relationship for longer than a weekend yet. Perhaps a thirty-day trial boyfriend is just what the doctor ordered.
As my test run with Trevor stretches well beyond my old comfort zone, I find myself wishing I could stop time and make our relationship real before he goes back home.
At least I’ll always have the memories of our vacation fling.
