As an experiment inside a classified government facility, Mac only knows two things: Follow the rules or face the consequences. Shifters, like Mac are brainwashed and subjected to the most inhumane of treatments to prove they’re little more than abominations until a new researcher joins the staff. When she faces a threat, Mac can no longer blindly follow orders.

Violet believes that she can to do some good after she signs a contract to work for the government. The rose colored glasses are ripped away to reveal the deceit and inhumane treatment of the experiments inside. When the head of the facility realizes she’s not like the rest, her name is added to the list of twisted experiments.
