I didn’t expect a perfect marriage.
I didn’t even believe they existed.
What I didn’t expect was to say, “I do” and then be completely forgotten.

At least, that was how it started out.
It just got more complicated from there, until it wasn’t.
Happiness was just around the corner, and maybe even, in time, the perfect marriage too.

NOTE: This is an arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, second chance romance.
READER CONTENT WARNING: This is an arranged marriage situation, with all the angst that might imply, including the appearance of cheating by main characters. *There is no cheating once the characters agree to a real relationship, but that happens after they say “I do”, if that is a problem for you, then this might not be the book for you.

I liked it. Trigger warnings were on point. She ended up not getting deep in the trauma but in the sequels of it, and the need to seek help Without being obnoxious with the advice she develop the story nicely talking about major tragic events in past tense to lessen their impact on the reader.

I enjoyed reading the story. I actually really loved MC’s nonchalant behaviour. It’s written nicely, but at times, while reading the dialogues, I found them quite unrealistic. And I would agree with Vainya, that the womanising line was too much at times. Also, I was confused with the motivation of the MC’s lover. Overall, the idea is really good because it bring light to mental health problems.
