I had my entire future mapped out, which is exactly how I prefer things—organized and predictable. Law school, marriage, two-point-five kids, and a white picket fence. Nothing extravagant, just a little family of my own, and a place to call home.
But life has other plans when my long-term girlfriend dumps me at the end of freshman year, and I’m left feeling empty and rejected.

When my best friend and I find ourselves burned by the opposite sex and moping around a bonfire in his parents’ backyard, I take it upon myself to better our situation.
