Enjoyable read with some cute sass from Scarlett. I little thrill and mystery with the threats on Zar who is holding his dad’s mystery papers trying to flush out the killers. The plot was around exposing the misdeeds Zar’s father was involved in and who killed him but it needed more development as some of the details could have been fleshed out more to add more thrills. Scarlett as the bodyguard protector was cute but didn’t really ring true especially for a Billionaire who has access to highly skilled security teams. The threat and the killers at the end fell flat and fizzled for me. Nice storyline with good bones which needed a little more realism. Nice chemistry between Zar and Scarlett which was a slow burn but got hot and heavy at the end. I liked Scarlett’s friends Jamie and Kayla and looking forward to reading their stories.
I was hooked with the starting and then i read her motivation, half the plot was already known, even guessed the third act breakup correctly. The guy seemed pretty stupid for a billionaire 🤣 but Scarlet was awesome 😎
